Nurse

A reputable hospital in Naivasha is seeking to recruit a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse to join its Nursing Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, patient-centered nursing care, monitoring patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments, maintaining accurate clinical records, and working collaboratively with doctors and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best patient outcomes.

What you'll do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments safely.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and vital signs.
• Assist doctors during examinations and medical procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health promotion.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are followed.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Nurse Manager.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and possess a valid practicing license.
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS certification is an added advantage.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records is an added advantage.
